After 38 played minutes, Audivert FC's Estavan Almirall shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timoteo Zuazo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Audivert FC reached it. A collision led to Tuscal getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Aimar Arana hit a great ball. After the first half Audivert FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd play minute Horacio Urbieta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Timoteo Zuazo. 0-2. Tuscal's Timoteo Zuazo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Tuscal from getting a goal against them. After 61 played minutes Audivert FC got a freekick which was hit by Xose Albalate. In the 65thth minute of the game Orzaize Proaño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Audivert FC's Beat Neyda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Orzaize Proaño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beat Neyda was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Loco Peroria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Beat Neyda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Ilazki Altares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Audivert FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Audivert FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
