After 12 played minutes, Sport KJU's Emanuel Palencia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marquinhos Tróia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sport KJU reached it. In the 13th minute, Maule Caldevila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Larpe Azpiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Heban in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sport KJU's zone, Martinez Bazquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Larpe Azpiroz came out of the goal and Martinez Bazquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Txerran Altemiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Cristian Lluba took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Larpe Azpiroz to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th match minute, Sport KJU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erroman Bono to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Maule Caldevila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Lluba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Larpe Azpiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Txerran Altemiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martinez Bazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Martinez Bazquez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Club Sportivo Luqueño's Martinez Bazquez got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Larpe Azpiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 73 minutes into the match, Txerran Altemiz notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Sport KJU's Larpe Azpiroz. Larpe Azpiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th match minute, Sport KJU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Palencia to maneuver through the defense. Club Sportivo Luqueño's Txerran Altemiz got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Sport KJU:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Sportivo Luqueño:s goal. The referee gave Club Sportivo Luqueño a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jeremias Heban, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sport KJU's Larpe Azpiroz. 6-0. Odilon Cancela charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Odilon Cancela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Odilon Cancela hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
