The throw-in from Sergio Junco in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Olimpico's Panpili Besteiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xepe Hermo in the 9th minute of play forced Olimpico's goalkeeper Modesto Laje to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Marcial Achutegui got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bidun Serantes in the 12th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Manuel Aedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraguay's Manuel Aedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerrold Martioda in the 14th minute of play. Marcial Achutegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Laje having to interfere. Gipuzkoa Villafana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Laje having to interfere. Modesto Laje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gipuzkoa Villafana in the 36th minute of play. Gipuzkoa Villafana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gipuzkoa Villafana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Gipuzkoa Villafana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Laje breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Modesto Laje was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gipuzkoa Villafana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Olimpico's Modesto Laje played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gipuzkoa Villafana in the 52nd minute of play. Modesto Laje didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Achutegui went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute Gipuzkoa Villafana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Laje saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gipuzkoa Villafana in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Laje saved Olimpico from getting behind. In the 67th minute Argenis Moyua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Aedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Achutegui in the 71st minute of play forced Olimpico's goalkeeper Modesto Laje to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerrold Martioda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Manuel Aedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Laje showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gipuzkoa Villafana in the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Mikolas Bango had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Laje. Olimpico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikolas Bango was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 89th minute Gipuzkoa Villafana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Laje saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bidun Serantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Manuel Aedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Modesto Laje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Achutegui in the 96th minute of play.
