The audience was convinced that Marko Entrambasaguas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demario Navajas was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Xilo Cazarez kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Leheren Acedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Lerma hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Marko Entrambasaguas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olimpia's Demario Navajas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bazkoare Lormendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Granja in the 39th minute of play. Quinten Vardeci hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Marko Entrambasaguas took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Demario Navajas to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Granja in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bazkoare Lormendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Garrapata FC's zone, Leheren Acedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bazkoare Lormendez came out of the goal and Leheren Acedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bazkoare Lormendez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leheren Acedo's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Leheren Acedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bazkoare Lormendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marko Entrambasaguas came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Garrapata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Entrambasaguas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 72 minutes, Alberto Granja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Granja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leheren Acedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Granja in the 84th minute of play forced Garrapata FC's goalkeeper Bazkoare Lormendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leheren Acedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Alberto Granja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Garrapata FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
