Lop Provencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demario Navajas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardino Paderniga went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Flavio Travieso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leheren Acedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Travieso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Granja in the 24th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Bernardino Paderniga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Demario Navajas, 3-0. Berenguer Concepcion took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Travieso. Pelada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Demario Navajas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lop Provencio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. Bernardino Paderniga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demario Navajas having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Pelada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Arnao to maneuver through the defense. When Pelada's Bernardino Paderniga in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olimpia's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Pelada's Joaquin Fasgar got a free kick in the 58th minute. Pelada were furious when Dunixi Pujol was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pelada! After 70 minutes, Xilo Cazarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpia and the Pelada players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pelada booed when Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xilo Cazarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Moracia, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pelada's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alberto Granja 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-2. In the 80th minute Alberto Granja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Travieso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes, Quinten Vardeci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpia and the Pelada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernardino Paderniga struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Demario Navajas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pelada. In the 96th minute, Bernardino Paderniga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pelada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pelada fully deserved thier win.
