Ulises Caride could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Modesto Laje made a huge save. If Argenis Moyua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute of the match, Ulises Caride got a very nice opportunity to score, but Modesto Laje was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Olimpico defense, Ulises Caride kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Laje. The Olimpico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Laje should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Caride got free with Modesto Laje in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Argenis Moyua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Barrasa having to interfere. Primitivo Barrasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrold Martioda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Olimpico got a freekick which was hit by Hartz Portilla. The long shot by Candido Rojas in the 30th minute really tested Modesto Laje's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jerrold Martioda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Barrasa having to interfere. When Jerrold Martioda came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Olimpico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerrold Martioda couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Olimpico's Modesto Laje got control of the ball when Ulises Caride tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belo Abin made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Olimpico's Hartz Portilla. After 45 minutes of play, Olimpico's Argenis Moyua made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Primitivo Barrasa was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Primitivo Barrasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todor Bidaurre in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Argenis Moyua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argenis Moyua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerrold Martioda's late challenge caught a Los Pinguinos F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerrold Martioda helped the player get up and apologised. Jerrold Martioda kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Bidun Agulla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Trapiella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Barrasa having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Hartz Portilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpico and the Los Pinguinos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Olimpico's Hartz Portilla got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute, Ariando Cantoral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ulises Caride had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olimpico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
