The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Aedo should have stopped the shot. Resto Jerez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Xepe Hermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gipuzkoa Villafana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vimaro Losa having to interfere. Vimaro Losa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gipuzkoa Villafana, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Egoi Castellana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vimaro Losa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcial Achutegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gipuzkoa Villafana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xepe Hermo. Mercurio Quijana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Aedo having to interfere. Manuel Aedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dodorol Sorriva, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Mercurio Quijana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Manuel Aedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, Paraguay's Gipuzkoa Villafana made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vimaro Losa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Manuel Aedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mercurio Quijana. After 53 minutes, Xepe Hermo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the cerro33 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Xepe Hermo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dodorol Sorriva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Aedo having to interfere. Vimaro Losa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gipuzkoa Villafana in the 57th minute of play. Vimaro Losa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Paraguay's Xepe Hermo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Vimaro Losa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gipuzkoa Villafana in the 63rd minute of the match. Vimaro Losa came out of the goal and Gipuzkoa Villafana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mercurio Quijana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Aedo having to interfere. There was no doubt that Paraguay were the better team. Paraguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
