After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Luqueño's Oskitz Toca got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Demario Navajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txerran Altemiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Alberto Granja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martinez Bazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demario Navajas having to interfere. If Cristian Lluba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Granja in the 18th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Luqueño's goalkeeper Marquinhos Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Lluba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demario Navajas came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sportivo Luqueño's Txerran Altemiz. But to his dismay, Txerran Altemiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leheren Acedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marquinhos Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Lluba to make the kick off. Demario Navajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Lluba in the 52nd minute of the match. Demario Navajas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martinez Bazquez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Txerran Altemiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Demario Navajas made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Xilo Cazarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eudoxio Cordoba hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Oxarra Cuebas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Txerran Altemiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Sportivo Luqueño's Marquinhos Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leheren Acedo in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Club Sportivo Luqueño getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Oskitz Toca hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txerran Altemiz got free with Demario Navajas in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Sportivo Luqueño's Martinez Bazquez got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Eriz Jalon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Club Sportivo Luqueño supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Sportivo Luqueño would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
