Spectators: 8003 (Terracing: 6004, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gipuzkoa Villafana kicked off to start the match. Etxahun Albornoz came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Gipuzkoa Villafana. But to his dismay, Gipuzkoa Villafana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Gipuzkoa Villafana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the game, Sergio Junco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Natalio the free kick. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sergio Junco hit a great ball. Viator Salado kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Gipuzkoa Villafana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcial Achutegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paraguay's Gipuzkoa Villafana in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Natalio's goalie prevented a goal. Viator Salado's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viator Salado helped the player get up and apologised. Etxahun Albornoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Achutegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Marcial Achutegui struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Etxahun Albornoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Etxahun Albornoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gipuzkoa Villafana in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Marcial Achutegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etxahun Albornoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viator Salado hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Gipuzkoa Villafana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Gipuzkoa Villafana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Etxahun Albornoz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gipuzkoa Villafana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Etxahun Albornoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Achutegui in the 40th minute of the match. Gipuzkoa Villafana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Etxahun Albornoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gipuzkoa Villafana, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The Natalio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paraguay were winning 0-1.

Luis Millon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Etxahun Albornoz firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Gipuzkoa Villafana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gipuzkoa Villafana struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Etxahun Albornoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Paraguay's Marcial Achutegui got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xepe Hermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etxahun Albornoz having to interfere. The supporters of Natalio booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xepe Hermo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Indalecio Verano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Aedo. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Aedo should have stopped the shot. Bladi Balado made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Sergio Junco. Etxahun Albornoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Achutegui in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Paraguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Natalio throughout the match.
