Lopez Raigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Pliszka in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

54 minutes into the match, Alcaeda's Mauricio Mesia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lopez Raigal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Alcaeda booed when Estrella Verde C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orti Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Mauricio Mesia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alcaeda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rodrigo Mendes shot from long distance in the 81st minute, but Lopez Raigal was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 84 minutes into the match, Estrella Verde C.F.'s Sayveon Romeo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muc Gorostieta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute of the match, Carlos Rodrigues tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lopez Raigal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella Verde C.F.'s zone, Wasyl Pliszka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lopez Raigal came out of the goal and Wasyl Pliszka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alcaeda's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
