Maximo Bas made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Zuriko Piñeiros sent off a good shot on target. Firman Caborredondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Milio Jaurigui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Comis fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Comis's Johans Gavela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Claus Lillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fertus Urquioja was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Naranjito's Fertus Urquioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lizer Berrio in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Naranjito's Zuriko Piñeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximo Bas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johans Gavela did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Fertus Urquioja 75 minutes into the match. Milio Jaurigui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Maximo Bas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Firman Caborredondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naranjito and the Comis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Naranjito got a freekick which was hit by Firman Caborredondo.
