Mandarina's Itzaina Rigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mandarina from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlo Serradell got free with Itzaina Rigues in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match, Marcelino Reguilon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Itzaina Rigues saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 43 minutes, Ieltxu Carbajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ladio Cañucal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Orlo Serradell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Itzaina Rigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Piron's Marcelino Reguilon made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Itzaina Rigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Mandarina getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ieltxu Carbajo hit a great ball. Orlo Serradell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcelino Reguilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
