After 11 minutes, Valerio Solares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piron and the Faint FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Piron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valerio Solares to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Faint FC's Xalbador Amenedo in action when he in the 13th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Tiburcio Aleja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larpe Urria in the 21st minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Gagriel Calera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Larpe Urria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Aleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabin Armiñan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gomesano Ontanilla in the 39th minute. Tiburcio Aleja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlo Serradell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Zunzunegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Gomesano Ontanilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Armiñan having to interfere. The supporters of Faint FC booed when Piron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerio Solares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Piron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rexino Orejo to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Faint FC's Gomesano Ontanilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabin Armiñan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Larpe Urria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Piron's Lucio Ovalle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiburcio Aleja. That made the score 0-2 after 81 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Piron eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
