Spectators: 9188 (Terracing: 6892, Seating: 2113, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pio FC's Ruben Fontecha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Pio FC from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Pio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johans Gavela came free, but Ruben Fontecha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pio FC booed when Comis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Tremiño didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Lucas Durango sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximo Bas skillfully saved the ball. After 13 played minutes Comis got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Agado. After 20 played minutes Pio FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Ximeno. If Azeari Mazorra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ramiro Ximeno fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pio FC's protests and gave Ramiro Ximeno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pio FC's Ramiro Ximeno got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Pio FC's Ruben Fontecha got control of the ball when Lizer Berrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Johans Gavela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Fontecha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Maximo Bas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Ximeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Bas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Itzaina in the 39th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johans Gavela was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Johans Gavela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Fontecha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Ramiro Ximeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Fontecha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johans Gavela in the 54th minute of play. During the 63rd minute of the match Ramiro Ximeno completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ramiro Ximeno a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Comis's Apolo Orbaneja was substituted for Claus Lillo. Ramiro Ximeno kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Comis's Johans Gavela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Fontecha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The Comis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Elias Itzaina was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Azeari Mazorra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Bas having to interfere. Elias Itzaina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Azeari Mazorra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Comis's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
