Thanks to some nice moves Filipe Saraiva could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Johnny Paredes however easily saved by the left post. In the 26th minute of the match Guille got a corner. Caaguazu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filipe Saraiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Filipe Saraiva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caaguazu's Johnny Paredes did a great save. 29 minutes into the match, Guille's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Torcida came free, but Alesander Cedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Lester in the 39th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Johnny Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes, Paquito Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caaguazu and the Guille players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Paquito Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on Caaguazu's corner Miro Olivos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alesander Cedillo quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Saraiva in the 64th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Johnny Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
