Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 1) FC lilita's Rafael Moreno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andy Zapata took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abraham Elizondo. Abraham Elizondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rafael Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute of the match Narciso Montemayor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abraham Elizondo skillfully saved the ball. After 16 played minutes Independencia got a freekick which was hit by Melky Willick. Abraham Elizondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Moreno in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, FC lilita's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Romero came free, but Asdrubal Luján reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Ojeda during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abraham Elizondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Moreno in the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Alexander Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asdrubal Luján breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC lilita booed when Independencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melky Willick didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, FC lilita's Narciso Montemayor tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Rafael Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC lilita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Moreno couldn't finish the play. After having played for 42 minutes, Iñigo Jurado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iñigo Jurado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andy Zapata struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Abraham Elizondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC lilita. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iñigo Jurado made a kick off. If Alexander Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Iñigo Jurado took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Asdrubal Luján to make any attempt to save it. Asdrubal Luján made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Alexander Romero sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Independencia's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Zapata came free, but Abraham Elizondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, FC lilita's Rafael Moreno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abraham Elizondo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 70 minutes into the match, FC lilita's goalkeeper Asdrubal Luján had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Romero. In the 72nd minute Andy Zapata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Elizondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Elizondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Zapata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Abraham Elizondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Elizondo having to interfere. After 81 played minutes FC lilita got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Cortez. In the 86th minute Andy Zapata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Elizondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolás Santos hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A hard shot 95 in the game by Alexander Romero from a close distance when the talented Asdrubal Luján managed to make a qualified save. FC lilita's players were relieved. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
