The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Ivan Zambrano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ®eal ƒantåsi ©lub's Albert Badía was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Amando Bonnelly put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Buenaventura Montañas. With a little luck, Cabarete CF's Buenaventura Montañas got control of the ball when Amando Bonnelly tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amando Bonnelly took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Buenaventura Montañas. Buenaventura Montañas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. ®eal ƒantåsi ©lub's Ulises Berrios managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ruben Cuevas in the 23 minute of the game. Eusebio Vázquez charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Vázquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ®eal ƒantåsi ©lub getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eusebio Vázquez hit a great ball. Buenaventura Montañas was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Ulises Berrios capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ulises Berrios really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After 33rd play minutes Amando Bonnelly shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Buenaventura Montañas and just under the crossbar into goal. 39 minutes into the game, ®eal ƒantåsi ©lub's Amando Bonnelly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Buenaventura Montañas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Amando Bonnelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Liver Griffin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Zambrano was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Amando Bonnelly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celio Durán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Buenaventura Montañas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Vanegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. The audience was convinced that Amando Bonnelly's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Buenaventura Montañas was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The goalkeeper, Albert Badía, was totally fooled by Cabarete CF's Matthew Santana, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 76 minutes of play, ®eal ƒantåsi ©lub's Amando Bonnelly made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Buenaventura Montañas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Amando Bonnelly notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Cabarete CF's Buenaventura Montañas. Buenaventura Montañas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ivan Zambrano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. Buenaventura Montañas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Vanegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The tension between the Cabarete CF and the ®eal ƒantåsi ©lub players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cabarete CF's Armando Segovia got a free kick in the 96th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amando Bonnelly in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buenaventura Montañas saved Cabarete CF from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the ®eal ƒantåsi ©lub players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
