Spectators: 6854 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1854, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amancio Valdivia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leoncio Contreras kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Óscar Lobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Valdivia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amancio Valdivia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Valdivia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Óscar Lobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Jeremias Bermúdez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Óscar Lobos having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Bermúdez in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Óscar Lobos saved Guananico AF from getting behind. Óscar Lobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Bermúdez in the 18th minute of the match. Óscar Lobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Valdivia in the 21st minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guananico AF's goalkeeper Óscar Lobos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Amancio Valdivia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Padilla was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Fidel Naranjo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fidel Naranjo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Pizarrete CD's Amancio Valdivia got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Bermúdez in the 42nd minute of play forced Guananico AF's goalkeeper Óscar Lobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pizarrete CD's Raul Padilla got control of the ball when Leoncio Contreras tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Amancio Valdivia came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Pizarrete CD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Valdivia couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Guananico AF's Óscar Lobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Valdivia in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Melky Guzmán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilio Cuevas's late challenge caught a Guananico AF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilio Cuevas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Atilio Cuevas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Mauro Fajardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 59 played minutes Guananico AF got a freekick which was hit by Fermín Hopkins. Óscar Lobos made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jeremias Bermúdez sent off a good shot on target. Óscar Lobos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Valdivia's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Jeremias Bermúdez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Lobos having to interfere. When Salomón Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pizarrete CD's protests and gave Salomón Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guananico AF booed when Pizarrete CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomón Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leoncio Contreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yorkis Parra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Óscar Lobos made a huge save. A collision led to Guananico AF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Marino Cuéllar hit a great ball. Amancio Valdivia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Óscar Lobos came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Pizarrete CD's Jeremias Bermúdez. But to his dismay, Jeremias Bermúdez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
