Marino Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lesli Prado having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Espaillat AC got a freekick which was hit by Quique Carrera. Eugênio de Alcântara did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Lesli Prado 20 minutes into the match. Eugênio de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lesli Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stan Arrendel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stan Arrendel during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cabareteam getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Stan Arrendel hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Espaillat AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! The Cabareteam fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Cabareteam's Eugênio de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Eugênio de Alcântara sped through Espaillat AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lesli Prado. A collision led to Cabareteam getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Stan Arrendel hit a great ball. Eugênio de Alcântara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Lesli Prado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Guillermo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugênio de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Espaillat AC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Yhency Garrido hit a great ball. Lesli Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Ramos in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugênio de Alcântara in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lesli Prado saved Espaillat AC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugênio de Alcântara in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lesli Prado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cabareteam's Eugênio de Alcântara in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espaillat AC's goalie prevented a goal. Cabareteam's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugênio de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lesli Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the game, Eugênio de Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Lesli Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cabareteam's Jonas Tveiten was substituted for Eugênio de Alcântara. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Tveiten in the 86th minute of play forced Espaillat AC's goalkeeper Lesli Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jonas Tveiten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lesli Prado was relentless in the 89th minute of the game.
