In the 8th match minute, ESAB 96 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernán Abbott to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Buenaventura Blanco in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Caballero saved ESAB 96 FC from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, ESAB 96 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Buenaventura Blanco came free, but Fidel Caballero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Carrizo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casimiro Cornejo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, real madrd's Yordany Terrazas got a free kick in the 13th minute. Izzy Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, real madrd's Buenaventura Blanco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidel Caballero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salvador Carrizo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 24th playminute. Salvador Carrizo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Cornejo having to interfere. Buenaventura Blanco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Caballero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Casimiro Cornejo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Salvador Carrizo sent off a good shot on target. Buenaventura Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fidel Caballero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Salvador Carrizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Buenaventura Blanco to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Buenaventura Blanco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fidel Caballero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the last second Fidel Caballero throw himself and got hold of the ball when Buenaventura Blanco in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Izzy Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the real madrd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izzy Fonseca couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Izzy Fonseca put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fidel Caballero. After 62 played minutes real madrd got a freekick which was hit by Izzy Fonseca. Izzy Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Buenaventura Blanco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Buenaventura Blanco might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Caballero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Buenaventura Blanco ran back to his position shaking his head. Fidel Caballero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Izzy Fonseca in the 80th minute. real madrd's Izzy Fonseca quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martín Decoux, made in the 81st minute of the game. Izzy Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Caballero having to interfere. Buenaventura Blanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Manuel Bustamante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESAB 96 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Bustamante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buenaventura Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Caballero having to interfere. Fidel Caballero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buenaventura Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 93 played minutes real madrd got a freekick which was hit by Izzy Fonseca. After a defensive mix-up in real madrd's zone, Salvador Carrizo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Cornejo came out of the goal and Salvador Carrizo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. real madrd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
