Spectators: 8167 (Terracing: 6127, Seating: 1878, VIP seats: 162) 4 minutes into the match, AC Cibao's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Sierra came free, but Alejandro Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urban Jespersson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faustino Blanco came out and tried to block the shot, but Urban Jespersson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. 18 minutes into the match, AC Cibao's Mel Carbajal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Peravia AC's Faustino Blanco got control of the ball when Urban Jespersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Peravia AC defense, Urban Jespersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Blanco. The Peravia AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Blanco should have stopped the shot. Edwar Pabón kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Urban Jespersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Faustino Blanco made a huge save. Urban Jespersson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Faustino Blanco 39 minutes into the match. Prospero Cisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urban Jespersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Urban Jespersson made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Peravia AC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aureliano Sierra hit a great ball. Faustino Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Cisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes of play, AC Cibao's Prospero Cisco made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Blanco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the game, Urban Jespersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Faustino Blanco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the match, Urban Jespersson notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Peravia AC's Faustino Blanco. Faustino Blanco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Urban Jespersson 's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Blanco was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The AC Cibao fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when AC Cibao's Urban Jespersson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Prospero Cisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peravia AC's Aureliano Sierra got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urban Jespersson in the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urban Jespersson in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Blanco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AC Cibao's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
