Junior Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Patrick Rael's late challenge caught a Sanchez AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Rael helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Postrer Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Rael to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Beltrán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Beltrán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Roma, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Postrer Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Arquímedes Navarro came free, but Clemente Fuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovanny De Castro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clemente Fuentes. Postrer Rio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emanuel Beltrán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Roma, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Rodríguez got free with Clemente Fuentes in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinicio Roma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olegario Peguero hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Vinicio Roma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Beltrán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Rodríguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Fuentes having to interfere. Clemente Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arquímedes Navarro in the 35th minute of play. If Arquímedes Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Arquímedes Navarro made the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Beltrán was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gervasio Albam showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 52 minute of play. Postrer Rio's Clemente Fuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Rodríguez in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arquímedes Navarro in the 65th minute of play forced Postrer Rio's goalkeeper Clemente Fuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Rodríguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Beltrán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Roma in the 74th minute. Arquímedes Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Junior Rosado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Beltrán came out and tried to block the shot, but Junior Rosado slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 84th minute. If Arquímedes Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Postrer Rio's zone, Arquímedes Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Fuentes came out of the goal and Arquímedes Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
