Faustino Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Rodríguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Peravia AC's Victor Zamora got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Peravia AC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Rodríguez came free, but Faustino Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sanchez AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Sierra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sanchez AD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peravia AC.
