Rodrigo Parra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Postrer Rio's Fabio Velasco to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodrigo Parra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A long shot from Pablo Puello in the 7th minute of play was well struck, but Rodrigo Parra made a really good save at the right post. If Clemente Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Willick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Clemente Fuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Willick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Zamora in the 18th minute of play forced Postrer Rio's goalkeeper Clemente Fuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Postrer Rio's zone, Humberto Willick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Fuentes came out of the goal and Humberto Willick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Willick struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Clemente Fuentes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azua. After 26 played minutes Postrer Rio got a freekick which was hit by Junior Rosado. 30 minutes into the match, Azua's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Rosado came free, but Rodrigo Parra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Junior Rosado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Parra, 1-0. If Clemente Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Runelvys Rivera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th play minute Vinicio Roma came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodrigo Parra. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Junior Rosado to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Vinicio Roma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Postrer Rio's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Roma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Parra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vinicio Roma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rodrigo Parra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Azua getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Emilio Ferrer hit a great ball. After 68 minutes of play, Postrer Rio's Junior Rosado made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Parra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clemente Zamora's late challenge caught a Postrer Rio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Zamora helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Clemente Zamora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Fuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Zamora, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Humberto Willick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Junior Rosado notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Azua's Rodrigo Parra. Rodrigo Parra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Patrick Rael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Postrer Rio's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
