Casimiro Arias hit a great ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Ramiro Almeyda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Banica AD's Alonso Pineda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Banica AD's Alonso Pineda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Banica AD from getting a goal against them. If Arthur Valdivia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Sebastián Arroyo made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Matheus. Domínico Argentino SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Banica AD booed when Domínico Argentino SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwards Valenzuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Banica AD's Sebastián Arroyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Matheus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugenio Matheus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arthur Valdivia went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Arroyo in the 33rd minute of play forced Domínico Argentino SC's goalkeeper Eugenio Matheus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Domínico Argentino SC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Valdivia came free, but Eugenio Matheus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ruben Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Domínico Argentino SC fans jumped to their feet. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Arthur Valdivia took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Eugenio Matheus to make any attempt to save it. Eugenio Matheus came out of the goal and Sebastián Arroyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Almeyda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Pineda having to interfere. The Banica AD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Banica AD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
