In the 13th minute of the match Miguel Samaniego sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesús Peralta skillfully saved the ball. Domingo Barreiro struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Manolo Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Increibles A.C.. Jesús Peralta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Negredo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Juan Rejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesús Peralta having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Higüey's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Britos came free, but Manolo Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Higüey's Juan Rejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesús Peralta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Rejo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Los Increibles A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dario Negredo came free, but Jesús Peralta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Britos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesús Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Rejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jesús Peralta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Negredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Britos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Barreiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manolo Cruz having to make a save. After 78 played minutes, Higüey's Miguel Samaniego shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jesús Peralta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Higüey reached it. Jesús Peralta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Negredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Higüey's Dario Negredo in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 92nd minute, Dario Negredo made a precise shot to the right of Jesús Peralta. Los Increibles A.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.
