Casti FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denny Rosado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Arnie Contras hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gabriel Macho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipólito Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 30th minute, Tomas Vinicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipólito Cortez in the 33rd minute of play forced Casti FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Macho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Chiflidzhanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelson Velázquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Plácido Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Miches were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Miches's zone, Albert Chiflidzhanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Velázquez came out of the goal and Albert Chiflidzhanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casti FC's Romeo Santana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nelson Bustamante, made in the 55th minute of the game. Nelson Velázquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Chiflidzhanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gabriel Macho made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Frank Maura sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Macho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Mella in the 62nd minute of the match. Denny Rosado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 73rd minute, Frank Maura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miches's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
