In the 22nd minute of the match Tomas Harvey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eladio Vinicio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Mao CP's Anthony Matheus made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yorkis Madrid was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute, Germán Lemos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pirata F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Germán Lemos scored to the left of an out of position Yorkis Madrid, making the score, 2-0. Mao CP's Eladio Vinicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rico Gasol in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Eladio Vinicio was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Máximo Peña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Máximo Peña really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Germán Lemos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mao CP getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dionisio Cuéllar hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Adalberto Sala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Eladio Vinicio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pirata F.C.'s Beltrán Mojica got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rdth minute of the game Anthony Matheus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirata F.C.'s Yorkis Madrid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Germán Lemos kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Mao CP succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Pirata F.C. had controlled the match.
