When Consuelo CD's Raimundo Hortas, in the 21st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Consuelo CD. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan José Treviño kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bartolo Melgar. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. If Raimundo Hortas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Federico Ávila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Melgar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan José Treviño, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Rob Melgar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Melgar having to interfere. Eusebio Burton hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Raimundo Hortas sped through World Class's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bartolomeo Fowler.

Bartolomeo Fowler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Hortas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Bartolomeo Fowler made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Armando Herrero sent off a good shot on target. Raimundo Hortas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bartolomeo Fowler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Raimundo Hortas came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Consuelo CD fans jumped to their feet. Consuelo CD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
