In the 11th minute Virgilio Dalmu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Serrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrés Serrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Dalmu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Vinicio in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrés Serrat saved Eléctrico F.C from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Grazia in the 17th minute of play forced Casti FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Macho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jorge Grazia got free in front of the goal in the 17th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gabriel Macho was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Josías Smith left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eléctrico F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Andrés Serrat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Chiflidzhanov in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Casti FC booed when Eléctrico F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Briceño didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Albert Chiflidzhanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Serrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Roberto Bonano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eléctrico F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casti FC the free kick. 33 minutes into the match, Eléctrico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Arnie Contras came free, but Andrés Serrat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Dalmu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrés Serrat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casti FC's Tomas Vinicio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgilio Dalmu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Arnie Contras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnie Contras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrés Serrat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Virgilio Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Eléctrico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Arnie Contras came free, but Andrés Serrat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Casti FC booed when Eléctrico F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Briceño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Chiflidzhanov struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Andrés Serrat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casti FC. Andrés Serrat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Chiflidzhanov in the 54th minute of the match. When Elizardo Herrera fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eléctrico F.C's protests and gave Elizardo Herrera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Elizardo Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Casti FC's Andrés Serrat threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Virgilio Dalmu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Eléctrico F.C's zone, Ignacio Rangel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrés Serrat came out of the goal and Ignacio Rangel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Dalmu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Albert Chiflidzhanov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrés Serrat, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Dalmu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrés Serrat was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. A collision led to Eléctrico F.C getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Elizardo Herrera hit a great ball. Arnie Contras took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrés Serrat. Andrés Serrat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Elizardo Herrera was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. After having played for 88 minutes, Arnie Contras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnie Contras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnie Contras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Andrés Serrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard, long distance shot from Arnie Contras flew over the goal. Andrés Serrat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Virgilio Dalmu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. When Arnie Contras came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Casti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnie Contras couldn't finish the play. Casti FC played a much better game than Eléctrico F.C and deserved their victory. The Eléctrico F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
