Toribio Monroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Serrat having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eléctrico F.C's Luciano Briceño got a free kick in the 25th minute. A long shot from Jules Hernández in the 26th minute of play was well struck, but Andrés Serrat made a really good save at the right post. Diómedes Carrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrés Serrat having to make a save. Diómedes Carrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Serrat having to interfere. Andrés Serrat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toribio Monroy went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Toribio Monroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Serrat having to interfere. Américo Guevara charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Guevara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sanabeta booed when Eléctrico F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Guevara didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Toribio Monroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Eléctrico F.C's Andrés Serrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diómedes Carrera in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Jorge Grazia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rico Juárez. Jorge Grazia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 67 minutes into the game, Sanabeta's Diómedes Carrera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrés Serrat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Diómedes Carrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Serrat having to interfere. Andrés Serrat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toribio Monroy in the 73rd minute of the match. Andrés Serrat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diómedes Carrera's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Jorge Grazia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rico Juárez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emilio Valdivia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sanabeta's Diómedes Carrera got a free kick in the 84th minute. Toribio Monroy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Andrés Serrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diómedes Carrera took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrés Serrat. Andrés Serrat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Eléctrico F.C's Elizardo Herrera got a free kick in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Diómedes Carrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanabeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Diómedes Carrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrés Serrat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Eléctrico F.C's zone, Toribio Monroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrés Serrat came out of the goal and Toribio Monroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sanabeta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
