Andrés Serrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rico Gasol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rico Gasol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Serrat having to interfere. In the 13th minute Rico Gasol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Serrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Pirata F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Briceño came free, but Yorkis Madrid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pirata F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alvin Halle hit a great ball. Haroldo Serrat charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Serrat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Eléctrico F.C booed when Pirata F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Serrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrés Serrat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Sala in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Grazia in the 27th minute of play forced Pirata F.C.'s goalkeeper Yorkis Madrid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Pirata F.C.'s Adalberto Sala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrés Serrat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rico Gasol in the 31st minute of play forced Eléctrico F.C's goalkeeper Andrés Serrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrés Serrat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Peña in the 32nd minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play, Pirata F.C.'s Adalberto Sala made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrés Serrat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yorkis Madrid made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josías Smith in the 41st minute. If Jorge Grazia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josías Smith kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 48thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Pirata F.C.'s keeper Yorkis Madrid was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rico Gasol to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Eléctrico F.C's Edwar Montemayor got a free kick in the 51st minute. Andrés Serrat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adalberto Sala in the 53rd minute. Beltrán Mojica kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvin Halle during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Alvin Halle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yorkis Madrid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Grazia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Jorge Grazia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yorkis Madrid. Pirata F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Grazia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 76th minute, one of Eléctrico F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eléctrico F.C. The goalkeeper, Andrés Serrat, was totally fooled by Pirata F.C.'s Tomas Harvey, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 82 minutes into the match, Pirata F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Josías Smith came free, but Yorkis Madrid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Eléctrico F.C's Jorge Grazia made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yorkis Madrid was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 87 played minutes Eléctrico F.C got a freekick which was hit by Elizardo Herrera. Yorkis Madrid didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Grazia went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Máximo Peña kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Eléctrico F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pirata F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
