Matt Caballero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sanabeta getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Matt Caballero hit a great ball. Rico Juárez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beltrán Arévalo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Zachary Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Riojas in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CAT FC's Roberto Cuevas got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Matt Caballero came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sanabeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matt Caballero couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, CAT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Caballero came free, but Zachary Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Beltrán Arévalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAT FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beltrán Arévalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Rico Juárez managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when CAT FC's Fabian Villarreal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 36 minutes into the game, Diómedes Carrera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zachary Castro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Diómedes Carrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beltrán Arévalo to make the kick off. Baldomero Riojas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Sanabeta getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Matt Caballero hit a great ball. Beltrán Arévalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, CAT FC's Zachary Castro got control of the ball when Diómedes Carrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of CAT FC booed when Sanabeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Riojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diómedes Carrera got free with Zachary Castro in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
