Beltrán Arévalo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Yorkis Madrid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAT FC. Rico Gasol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Castro having to interfere. A collision led to CAT FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Franquelis Garrido hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beltrán Arévalo was the one to do the kick off. Roberto Cuevas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Yorkis Madrid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zachary Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Sala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Adalberto Sala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachary Castro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, CAT FC's Roberto Cuevas got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Rico Gasol struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Florencio Castillo's late challenge caught a Pirata F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Castillo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in CAT FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Adalberto Sala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Castro having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Pirata F.C.'s goalkeeper Yorkis Madrid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Villarreal. Fabian Villarreal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Yorkis Madrid made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Pirata F.C.'s zone, Beltrán Arévalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yorkis Madrid came out of the goal and Beltrán Arévalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pirata F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while CAT FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
