Jorge Grazia's late challenge caught a Miches's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Grazia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Eléctrico F.C getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jorge Grazia hit a great ball. Andrés Serrat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipólito Cortez's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipólito Cortez in the 10th minute of play forced Eléctrico F.C's goalkeeper Andrés Serrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eléctrico F.C's Josías Smith got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lisandro Ballesteros hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josías Smith got free with Nelson Velázquez in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35thth minute of the game Hipólito Cortez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eléctrico F.C's Andrés Serrat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Eléctrico F.C's Elizardo Herrera got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipólito Cortez in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrés Serrat saved Eléctrico F.C from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Eléctrico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Hipólito Cortez came free, but Andrés Serrat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Plácido Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Plácido Figueroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Elizardo Herrera in the 55th minute of play forced Miches's goalkeeper Nelson Velázquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Charles Mella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miches's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eléctrico F.C the free kick. A collision led to Miches getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Charles Mella hit a great ball. Roberto Bonano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nelson Velázquez. Miches's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andrés Serrat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipólito Cortez in the 62nd minute of play. With his leg Andrés Serrat managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Miches's Plácido Figueroa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Eléctrico F.C's Andrés Serrat got control of the ball when Plácido Figueroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 minutes, Josías Smith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eléctrico F.C and the Miches players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Eléctrico F.C got a freekick which was hit by Josías Smith. With his leg Andrés Serrat managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Miches's Plácido Figueroa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 73rd minute Hipólito Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Serrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrés Serrat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipólito Cortez in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Hipólito Cortez made a precise shot to the right of Andrés Serrat. Eléctrico F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Plácido Figueroa in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andrés Serrat, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Plácido Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Miches fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Plácido Figueroa couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Eléctrico F.C's Luciano Briceño got a free kick in the 87th minute. Andrés Serrat came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Miches's Hipólito Cortez. But to his dismay, Hipólito Cortez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.
