Spectators: 5035 (Terracing: 4032, Seating: 1002, VIP seats: 1) Amadeo Frederik made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Narciso Gartzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elías Willick was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, HORTA UA's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Frederik came free, but Elías Willick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Amadeo Frederik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elías Willick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elías Willick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Frederik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Espinoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Peterson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute Flavio Peterson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Espinoza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the HORTA UA defense, Amadeo Frederik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elías Willick. The HORTA UA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elías Willick should have stopped the shot. Rogerio Barragán kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Elías Willick came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Independencia CF's Narciso Gartzi. But to his dismay, Narciso Gartzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 47 minutes into the game, Narciso Gartzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Elías Willick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

56 minutes into the match, Narciso Gartzi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elías Willick, 0-7. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Gustavo Arteaga put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in HORTA UA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Ciriaco Serrano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Narciso Gartzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elías Willick. The goal made the score 0-8. Narciso Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amadeo Frederik got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-10 in the right cross in the 80th match minute before Elías Willick had time to react. HORTA UA's Elías Willick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save HORTA UA from getting a goal against them. 0-11 became the score in the 89th minute when Amadeo Frederik elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ciriaco Serrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Elías Willick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marino Almaguer hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Elías Willick came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Independencia CF's Amadeo Frederik. But to his dismay, Amadeo Frederik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. The HORTA UA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Independencia CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
