The supporters of Molza United booed when Gazcue 608 United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Bucher didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gazcue 608 United's zone, Jafet Naranjo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Cejas came out of the goal and Jafet Naranjo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lenny Ayala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvin Bucher went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Molza United defense, Eliseo Alarcón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lenny Ayala. The Molza United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lenny Ayala should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute, Armando Palacios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Molza United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 24 played minutes Molza United got a freekick which was hit by Buenaventura Pulido. Lenny Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Correa in the 26th minute of the match. Molza United's Armando Palacios got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jafet Naranjo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Cejas was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Joel Cejas was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Jafet Naranjo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jafet Naranjo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 36th match minute, Molza United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesús Vega to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Jafet Naranjo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Cejas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Bucher in the 47th minute of play forced Molza United's goalkeeper Lenny Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Bucher got free with Lenny Ayala in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Javier Urrutia charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javier Urrutia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jesús Vega lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Molza United! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Gazcue 608 United. Javier Urrutia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lenny Ayala. 2-4. Molza United's Lenny Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt Ureña in the 77th minute of play. Lenny Ayala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvin Bucher in the 79th minute. Alonso Pacheco's late challenge caught a Gazcue 608 United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonso Pacheco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Molza United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Armando Palacios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87 played minutes Gazcue 608 United got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Carbonell. Joel Cejas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Palacios, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Lenny Ayala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvin Bucher went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Alvin Bucher dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lenny Ayala, 2-6. With a little luck, Molza United's Lenny Ayala got control of the ball when Florencio Correa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gazcue 608 United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
