Allahyar Akbar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ceferino Del Solar made a huge save. El Pinar's Ceferino Del Solar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allahyar Akbar in the 44th minute of play. Camilo Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marino Urrutia went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenny Rivas during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Máximo Méndez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. In the 92nd minute, Severino Aiza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of El Pinar booed when Churchill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
