Silvano Figueroa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lesli Ochoa was the one to do the kick off. Abel Yáñez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Julio Patterson made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Abel Yáñez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos de Villa Tapia's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Yáñez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Patterson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lisandro Allison came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the SantiagoFc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Allison couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Lisandro Allison managed to get in a good position for a shot. SantiagoFc's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Allison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the referee ended the match the SantiagoFc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
