Norberto Ulloa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allahyar Akbar took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lázaro Peñalba. Lázaro Peñalba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kenny Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Allahyar Akbar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Allahyar Akbar made a precise shot to the right of Lázaro Peñalba. Garabito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Norberto Ulloa in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camilo Neto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kenny Rivas hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Camilo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Luis Vega in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Allahyar Akbar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lázaro Peñalba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Dickson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Peñalba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Dickson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After a defensive mix-up in Garabito's zone, Allahyar Akbar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Peñalba came out of the goal and Allahyar Akbar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Churchill FC's Allahyar Akbar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Churchill FC's Camilo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Luis Vega in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Anibal Ibarra suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 60 minutes into the game, Franco de la Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garabito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Churchill FC the free kick. In the 62nd minute of the match Marcos Dickson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lázaro Peñalba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Allahyar Akbar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lázaro Peñalba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Garabito got a freekick which was hit by Franco de la Rosa. With a little luck, Garabito's Lázaro Peñalba got control of the ball when Allahyar Akbar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 played minutes, Garabito's Odalis Guillén shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Neto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garabito reached it. Marcos Dickson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Dickson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Dickson in the 90th minute of play forced Garabito's goalkeeper Lázaro Peñalba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Luis Vega in the 91st minute of the match. Marcos Dickson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Peñalba having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Norberto Ulloa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Churchill FC's Camilo Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Churchill FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Garabito throughout the match.
