Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrick Palacios started the match with the kick off. Michael Bartlett came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by La Romana's Jenaro Silva. But to his dismay, Jenaro Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 15 minutes into the game, La Romana's Jenaro Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Bartlett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Jenaro Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Runelvys Cano came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Miches fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Runelvys Cano couldn't finish the play. After having played for 25 minutes, Willy Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willy Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Runelvys Cano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaury Noboa having to interfere. Michael Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Palacios in the 30th minute of play. Willy Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Amaury Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Arce might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amaury Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Arce ran back to his position shaking his head. Runelvys Cano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Runelvys Cano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Amaury Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Runelvys Cano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerónimo Godín hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Runelvys Cano got free with Amaury Noboa in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Willy Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaury Noboa having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, La Romana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Zapata to maneuver through the defense. If Willy Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jenaro Silva in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Miches getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Wilfredo Arce hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Romana's zone, Willy Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amaury Noboa came out of the goal and Willy Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Willy Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaury Noboa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Willy Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miches's supporters rose to their feet, but Willy Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amaury Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Runelvys Cano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amaury Noboa. That made the score 2-3 in the 95 minute of play. Miches's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
