Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) El Peñón FC's Anthony Canal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The attack was good, but when Jules Donato in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 13 played minutes San Francisco de Marcoris got a freekick which was hit by Bautista Nolasco. Ricardo De La Vega stood somewhat misplaced when Anthony Canal came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. Ricardo De La Vega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Canal in the 22nd minute of play. Celestino Carreón kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jules Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Anthony Canal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Peñón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Canal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in San Francisco de Marcoris's zone, Isidoro Ledesma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo De La Vega came out of the goal and Isidoro Ledesma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo De La Vega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Canal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, El Peñón FC's Isidoro Ledesma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo De La Vega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Adolfo Zambrano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josías Alkorta's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josías Alkorta in the 47th minute of play forced El Peñón FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Zambrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jules Donato to strike the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Ledesma might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo De La Vega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 68 minutes of play, El Peñón FC's Anthony Canal made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo De La Vega was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo De La Vega having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, San Francisco de Marcoris's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Canal came free, but Ricardo De La Vega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Anthony Canal managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Peñón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony Canal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo De La Vega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthony Canal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
