The supporters of Churchill FC booed when Cuervos de Villa Tapia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marlón Nolasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Allahyar Akbar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuervos de Villa Tapia's Pascual Palacio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kenny Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Cuervos de Villa Tapia's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Rivas came free, but Pascual Palacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Quintana to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Ibarra in the 52nd minute of play forced Cuervos de Villa Tapia's goalkeeper Pascual Palacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Julio Quintana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Neto was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allahyar Akbar in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Palacio saved Cuervos de Villa Tapia from getting behind. In the 83rd match minute, Churchill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Ibarra to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Allahyar Akbar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
