Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Alcott in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amaury Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amaury Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothy Paré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Timothy Paré had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in La Romana's zone, Anselmo Alcott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amaury Noboa came out of the goal and Anselmo Alcott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquilino Schultz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Anselmo Alcott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaury Noboa having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Salcedo UC's Yorkis Armijo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amaury Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Alcott in the 83rd minute of play forced La Romana's goalkeeper Amaury Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Randor Albright charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Randor Albright the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Randor Albright hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Anselmo Alcott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anselmo Alcott came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Salcedo UC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Alcott couldn't finish the play. Timothy Paré struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Amaury Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salcedo UC. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Salcedo UC fully deserved thier win.
