Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Pascual Palacio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Julio Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Bartlett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Palacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Julio Quintana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Michael Bartlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Julio Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos de Villa Tapia's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Bartlett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cuervos de Villa Tapia getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leonardo Covarrubias hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, Cuervos de Villa Tapia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. When Willy Lara came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Miches fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willy Lara couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Miches's zone, Julio Quintana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Bartlett came out of the goal and Julio Quintana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Mella hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Yáñez in the 42nd minute of play forced Miches's goalkeeper Michael Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Miches's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Quintana came free, but Michael Bartlett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Quintana to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Quintana in the 51st minute of play forced Miches's goalkeeper Michael Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Julio Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willy Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Miches booed when Cuervos de Villa Tapia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Soto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner ended in Yohan Cañas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cuervos de Villa Tapia's Pascual Palacio did a great save. Julio Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Bartlett having to interfere. Camilo Turnbull lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Abel Yáñez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos de Villa Tapia's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Yáñez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Quintana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Bartlett having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Abel Yáñez took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Michael Bartlett to make any attempt to save it. Julio Quintana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Michael Bartlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Miches fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cuervos de Villa Tapia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
