Michal Jehlička fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yánez Aldaeta having to interfere. Alan Marinelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yánez Aldaeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Yánez Aldaeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Marinelli in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Willy Iglesias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Club Atlético Univ. UASD booed when Club Atlético Lea Papá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Club Atlético Lea Papá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Marinelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atlético Lea Papá made a substitution. Honorio Endira replaced Gao Chuan. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Marcelo Carracedo was substituted for Alan Marinelli. In the 59th minute Ramiro Cuevas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yánez Aldaeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UASD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Archibeque to maneuver through the defense. Aldo-Pedro Poy took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yánez Aldaeta. Yánez Aldaeta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Club Atlético Lea Papá's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
