In the 40th minute, François Manche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Stewarts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paco Puente having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Argen-Taino's Paco Puente threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Agustín Zapata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for François Manche to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, 4 de Julio's Rogerio Godoy got a free kick in the 56th minute. Paco Puente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Agustín Zapata took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paco Puente. In the 90thth minute of the game Agustín Zapata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 4 de Julio's Paco Puente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the 4 de Julio defense, Phil Mills kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paco Puente. The 4 de Julio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paco Puente should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Argen-Taino players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
