Kamel Feraoun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Taha in the 22nd minute of play forced Red Lion FC's goalkeeper Rabah Fellahi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lakeview's Rachid Taha suffered a concussion in the 26th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 27 minutes into the game, Nadir Soltani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Lion FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lakeview the free kick. If Kateb Belloumi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheb Hasni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Fellahi having to interfere. Kateb Belloumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tedj Bella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Red Lion FC booed when Lakeview was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noureddine Dahleb didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 49 played minutes, Red Lion FC's Abderrachid Boniche shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tedj Bella came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red Lion FC reached it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kateb Belloumi was the one to do the kick off. Abderrachid Boniche kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Cheb Hasni struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rabah Fellahi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lakeview. Tedj Bella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salah Hamid in the 66th minute. Rabah Fellahi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamel Feraoun in the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Red Lion FC's zone, Kamel Feraoun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabah Fellahi came out of the goal and Kamel Feraoun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rabah Fellahi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Hasni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kamel Feraoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tedj Bella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kateb Belloumi in the 77th minute of play. Kamel Feraoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sid Kensi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tedj Bella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lakeview defense, Sid Kensi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tedj Bella. The Lakeview fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tedj Bella should have stopped the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
