Spectators: 6809 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leon Bouzid kicked off to start the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Sad couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Crewe FC's Madhi Seghiri got control of the ball when Karim Sad tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Whitinsville defense, Jean-Baptiste Beloufa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halim Azzizi-Kettab. The Whitinsville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halim Azzizi-Kettab should have stopped the shot. When Crewe FC's Jean-Baptiste Beloufa in 13 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Halim Azzizi-Kettab guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Karim Sad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Madhi Seghiri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crewe FC's Madhi Seghiri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Crewe FC from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Boughera Bouziane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halim Azzizi-Kettab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Jean-Baptiste Beloufa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crewe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Baptiste Beloufa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boughera Bouziane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Whitinsville's Faouzi Saïd-Guerni got a free kick in the 27th minute. Madhi Seghiri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Sad in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Baptiste Beloufa in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halim Azzizi-Kettab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mohamed Hasni was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Whitinsville fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Halim Azzizi-Kettab went to the wrong direction when Karim Zouba was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Karim Sad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Madhi Seghiri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Baptiste Beloufa made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Crewe FC's Boughera Bouziane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Halim Azzizi-Kettab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Halim Azzizi-Kettab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boughera Bouziane in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Crewe FC's zone, Karim Sad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madhi Seghiri came out of the goal and Karim Sad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Crewe FC's Fodil Mezair got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 65 minutes of play, Crewe FC's Boughera Bouziane made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Halim Azzizi-Kettab was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jean-Baptiste Beloufa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halim Azzizi-Kettab having to interfere. Jean-Baptiste Beloufa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Whitinsville's Halim Azzizi-Kettab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Baptiste Beloufa in the 77th minute of play. Boughera Bouziane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Halim Azzizi-Kettab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Baptiste Beloufa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halim Azzizi-Kettab having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Whitinsville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amrani Abrika to maneuver through the defense. Crewe FC's Madhi Seghiri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Ahmed Sadmi in the 92nd minute of play. After 97 minutes, Abd el Hamouda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crewe FC and the Whitinsville players grew even worse after the yellow card. 97 minutes into the game, one of Crewe FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the final whistle sounded Crewe FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Whitinsville.
