Ahmed Reda Lamine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Spanaway AFC's Maïssa Ahmed slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmed Reda Lamine. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. Reda Boulmerka hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Spanaway AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Chih Matmour came free, but Rabah Lacarne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spanaway AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
